Registration OPENS.

NOTE: Only registered teams may login to edit registration data, view certification forms, practice download/upload process, and download/upload on selected Challenge day.
Friday, February 22, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. EST

1. Registration CLOSES.
2. Deadline for changes to team registration.
3. Parental/Guardian Consent — A parent or guardian for each student team member must submit consent via login to M3 Challenge site.

Thursday, February 28, 2013 at noon EST Practice time to download sample problem and upload sample solution paper ends.
M3 Challenge weekend
Saturday & Sunday, March 2 & 3, 2013		 M3 Challenge weekend. Teams download the problem beginning at 7:00 a.m. local time on their chosen Challenge day. Upload of solution paper must be completed by 9:00 p.m. local time that same day.
Friday, March 8, 2013 at 6:00 p.m EST Authenticity Certification (for each team) — The teacher-coach must certify, via login to M3 Challenge site, that their team’s submission is authentic and was completed according the Official Rules & Guidelines

Last day teams can login to view their uploaded submission, submit forms or any other protected and private activity. Login becomes inactive after this day.
Friday, March 29, 2013 Teams making it through triage judging into Round 2 are notified.
Wednesday, April 10, 2013 Top six, semi-finalist, and honorable mention teams are notified.
Monday, April 29, 2013 Confirmation judging with presentations by top six teams, followed by awards ceremony at Moody's Corporation headquarters in Manhattan. Details to be announced.
Friday, May 17, 2013 Scholarship Payment Forms for winning students (one per student) submitted to M3 Challenge Headquarters.

Forms  

  • Parental/Guardian Consent Form [31K PDF]
    Each student team member’s parent or guardian must login with the team credentials and electronically sign their consent. Alternatively, the form may be completed in hard copy form and submitted via fax, mail, or email scanned document. All consents must be completed no later than 6:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 22, 2013.

  • Authenticity Certification Form
    The teacher-coach for each team will be prompted on March 5 and is required to electronically sign this form after the team submits their final solution paper. Certification is due at M3 Challenge headquarters on or before 6:00 p.m. EST on Friday, March 8, 2013.

  • Winning Teams: Each team member must fill out a Scholarship Payment Form [33K PDF] regarding distribution of their scholarship prize so that payment can be processed. Students who are juniors will have their scholarship payment held in escrow until they are ready to use it. We cannot proceed with payment for any student who does not submit this form. It is requested that the form be submitted to M3 headquarters via fax, mail, or emailed scanned document no later than 6:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, May 10, 2013.
